Wayne Lyle Howery

Wayne Lyle Howery, 76, of Eleanor, WV., passed away March 11, 2016.

Born September 24, 1939. Wayne was the son of the late James and Hazel Howery of Carbondale.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by infant daughter, Jacelyn Kathlene Howery; brothers, Clifford Howery, and Ray Rogers; and sisters, Anne Howery, Lois Boyd, and Karren Schoolcraft.

Wayne is survived by His girl of 48 yrs Shannon (Harvey) Howery;  daughter, Michelle Long (David) ; granddaughters, Katie Hayes (Austin), Sarah Thomasson (Kyle), and Gabie Long (Storm); great grandsons,  Riley Long, and Warren Thomasson;  twin sister, Wilma Belcher (Howell); and sisters, Donna Spurlock (Dale), and Aloma Turner.

He was a graduate of Montgomery High School, member of Winfield congregation of Jehovah’s Whitnesses, parts manager at Advance Auto, served in U.S. Navy, and was a forman at Ford Motor Company Chigago, ILL.

The family would like to Thank Genesis Health Care of Teays Valley. Special thanks to former son in law John Long, and Emily and Chad Snyder for all the love they showed to the family, and to Dr. Sean DiChisrofaro for all of his kindness and care over the years. We couldn't have had any better care, kindness, and comfort from a med care or anyone but you. Thank you Shannon Howery.

Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, WV. With Minister James Balser officiating.
