Vernon Bird Obituary
Vernon Calvin Bird, 62, of Lizemores, entered into rest October 8, 2011.
Born October 22, 1948 in Lizemores. He was the son of the late
Vernon and Nancy Jane Bird.
He was timber cutter for C.Bolt Lumber Co.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Mary (Holcomb) Bird of Lizemores, sons, Larry Bird of Montgomery, Scott Bird of Bentree, 4 grandchildren, brothers, Danny Bird of Lizemores and Junior Bird of Brownsville.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Naamon Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Holcomb & Nichols Cemetery, Holcomb Ridge.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
