Velma Bush Obituary
Velma Virginia Bush, 83, of Gauley Bridge, entered into rest August 3, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston.
Born on March 27, 1928, in Bentree, she was the daughter of the late John and Dora Harr Waugh. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dan Bush.
She was a waitress for Glen Ferris Inn.
Survivors include her children, Billy (Phyllis) Bush, Sr. of Gauley Bridge, Freddie (Donna) Bush of North Syracuse, NY, Judy Naylor of Gauley Bridge, Sue Bird of Dixie and Ginger Totten of Gauley Bridge; nephew, Gary (Martha) Waugh of Hurricane; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 12 noon Friday, August 5, 2011, at Simms United Methodist Church Cemetery, Swiss, with Pastor James Waldeck officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
