Thomas Neal Obituary

Thomas Henry Neal, 84, of Gauley Bridge passed away, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at home. He was born January 18, 1928 in Swiss, WV to the late Moses Henry and Onnie Vannie Wilson Neal. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Scarbro and Dorothy Yurchisin; brother, Donald Neal.
He was a retired coal miner from Union Carbide, Blue Creek, and also worked for the Roseville Charcoal Plant, Bentree. He was a member of the Gauley Bridge Masonic Lodge #64, and was the former Mayor for the Town of Gauley Bridge.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruth Lee Justus Neal of Gauley Bridge; daughter and son-in-law, Tona Elaine and John Zeitz of Dunbar, WV; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Henry and Teresa Neal of Glen Ferris, WV; Todd Douglas and Vicky Neal of Huntington, WV; brothers, Jerry Neal of Tampa, FL; James Neal of Cleveland, OH; sister, Betty Bailes of Summersville; Grandchildren, Kristen and Brittany Neal, Mikinzi Zeitz, Madison and Quinlan Neal.
Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Pennington Funeral Home. Gauley Bridge with Minister Frank Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London, with Masonic Graveside Rites conducted by the Gauley Bridge Lodge #64. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the funeral home chapel.
