Rose Catherine Stephens

Rose Catherine Stephens, 78, of Jodie, W.V. went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2023, after a lengthy illness. She was born March 26, 1945, in Lansing, W.V. She was the daughter of the late James Charles and Runa Olive Horrocks. Rose was a homemaker and spent her life dedicated to taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by husband Edison Lee Stephens and daughter Melissa Faye Stephens. She was also preceded in death by sisters Doris Brown, Ruth Jones, brothers Bill Hess, Donnie, Tommy, Dallas and Lee Horrocks.

She is survived by Daughters: Angie Shamblin (Jack Shamblin), Michelle White (Paul White) Grandchildren: Britney Ohse (Cory Ohse) and Kam White, Great Grandchildren: Paxton and Payton Ohse. Step Grandchildren: Jared Shamblin and Kristen Gill (Justin Gill) and Step Great Grandchildren: Lilly Shamblin, Addi and River Gill. She is also survived by brother Kenneth Horrocks.

Graveside service will be held 1:00pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Rich Creek Cemetery, Jodie,
