Rose Porta Obituary
Rose Marie Ongaro Porta, 93, a life long resident of Kanawha Falls, entered into rest Thursday, June 10, 2016 at Montgomery Elderly Care, Montgomery.
Born on June 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Rosa (Bosia) Ongaro . In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Aldo Porta.
She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Boomer, and a retired supervisor from the Department of Health and Human Services.
Rose is survived by several cousins; and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank 2nd floor of Montgomery General Hospital staff and doctors for all they have done.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM , June 13, 2016 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. With Father Mark Gallipeau officiating.
