Robert Larry Phillips was born April 26, 1978, in Colorado, to Tammy L Bibbee and Robert L “Togo” Phillips. Rob had 3 brothers; Jeremy (Melissa) of Altoona PA, Jason (Vanessa) of Sterling, VA, and Anthony, who preceded him in death. Rob had a son, Hayden Layne. Rob passed away unexpectedly following a short illness and will be missed dearly.
Over the years, Rob worked many jobs from cooking to store management. He was never afraid of hard work and was the first to pitch in whenever someone needed help. He was kind, loved by everyone, and always had a joke to lighten the mood.
Rob had a variety of hobbies. He loved to cook and frequently held jobs that allowed him to do that. He loved listening to heavy metal music, watching wrestling, playing bass, watching movies, and collecting figures. Rob’s son Hayden Layne was actually named for a character in Rob’s favorite Star Wars movie and a guitarist from one of his favorite bands.
Rob was preceded in death by his brother Tony, Father, Robert L Phillips Jr, Grandfather Robert L Phillips Sr, Grandfather Jesse Bibbee, and Grandmother Naomi Bibbee.
Rob is survived by his son Hayden, of Wolcottville, IN, his mother Tammy Bibbee and stepfather Ronald Rowley, his 2 brothers- Jeremy and Jason, 5 nephews and 2 nieces. He is also survived by his Grandmother Natalie Phillips, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
