Robert Monroe Miller

Robert “Bob” M. Miller, 75, of Gauley Bridge, WV, passed away on November 11, 2024. Born on February 8, 1949, in Fayette County, WV. 

Bob cherished the hills of his home state, spending his time in his younger years hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting. Those close to him knew his love for Westerns, always hearing them playing in the background when calling his home or visiting him. 

Bob’s legacy lives on through the values he instilled in his loved ones. He will be fondly remembered for his contagious laugh, his sense of humor, and genuine appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, among many other qualities. 

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, with whom he shared 53 years together, Beverly Miller; his three children, Angela Blair (Lewis) of Parkersburg, WV, Daniel Moore of Parkersburg, WV, and Jimmy Roberts (Teresa) of Wharton, WV; his four grandchildren, Natasha Petty (Josh), Tiffany Blair (Jared), Peyton Moore, and Scott Reed; and two great-grandchildren, Conner Petty and Adriana Petty.

The family extends their gratitude to the compassionate staff at Montgomery General Hospital who cared for Bob in his final days.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Pennington Smith Funeral Home in Gauley Bridge, WV
