Richard Lee Perkins

Richard Lee Perkins, 57, of Boomer passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home.

He had been attending church at North Charleston Apostolic Church.

Born July 4, 1957 in Wayland, KY, he is the son of the late Walter Perkins and Vercie (Maynard) Bennett.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly Perkins, Walter Perkins and Richard Perkins; grandchildren, Jayce and Jorden AraBella Perkins and Haylee Ruff; sisters, Marlene Gump, Maude Bias, Kathern Perkins, Geraldine Perkins, Vercie Sizemore and Angela Perkins; brother, Scott Bennett; the mother of his children, Carolyn Cicatko; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Rick’s wishes were for his body to be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014  at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Pastor David Bounds officiating. 

The family will receive friends one-half hour prior to the service.
