Naamon Bird Obituary
Naamon Robert Bird, 74 of Dixie, entered into rest on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Montgomery General Hospital.
He is the son of the late Vernon and Nancy Jane Bird.
Mr. Bird was a retired Coal Miner for Peabody Coal Co, and he was a member of the Laurel Fork Missionary Baptist Church.
Naamon is survived by his wife, Tammy Ann Bird of Dixie; his sons Roger, of Oak Hill, Gary, of Alta, Jeremy, of Dixie, and Naamon Jr, of Dixie;
daughter, Roberta Bird, of Jodie; step-son, Nick Davis, of Lizemores.
Naamon has three brothers, Junior, of Gauley Bridge,and Danny and Calvin both of Lizemores.
Also Mr. Bird is survived by 14 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held Monday, August 22, 2011 beginning at 10:00 AM at the Elliott Cemetery,
with Minister Jadie Morris officiating.
