Mary Ellen Lykins-Johnston 56 of Gauley Bridge went home to be with the lord December 27 th 2022 after a long illness
She was born March 9 th 1966 to the late Cleve lykins and Laura (Bragg) lykins
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father Cleve lykins,Mother Laura lykins
Brothers - James lykins,Cookie lykins
Sister-Brenda Lykins
Stepson-Jeffery Johnston
Nephew-Ernest Chapman
She is survived by her husband Herbert johnston of 15 years along with her fur baby Gizmo
Daughter-Melissa Johnston (Stan Grimmett)
Sister - Barbara Chapman ( Bucky Pritt)
Brother - Carl Lykins
Amanda Mullins who was like a second daughter ( Steven stover )
She had two Granddaughters- Kayla Johnston & Brooklyn Johnston
Three grandsons
Several nieces and nephews along with Great nieces and nephews
Mary loved summer time with her family. She enjoyed pool time , vacationing, camping, cookouts, and drinking her coffee on the porch.
Her favorite hobby was Yard Sales . She made many wonderful lifetime friendships selling over the years.
A special Thank you to all her doctors and Thomas hospital staff.
A Memorial Service will be Sunday  January 8 th from  2:00  to 3:00 Pennington Smith Funeral Home,  Gauley Bridge, WV for her family and friends.
