Mary E. "Betty" Bullard
Mary E. "Betty" Bullard 77, of Springfield, GA, formerly of Maysel, WV, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 03, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Herma Graham and one brother Joe Graham.
Betty was a retired hair dresser and was also retired from the United States Postal Service, having served as the postmaster of Clay, Gassaway, Newton , Lefthand, and Arnoldsburg and was the officer in charge of several other post offices throughout the state of WV.
She was named the "National Postmaster" of the year in 1985. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars, Clay Chapter.
She was a Baptist by faith.
She is survived by two sons, Franklin (Leah) of Ormond Beach, FL and Mark of Deltona, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Krista Parcell (George), Joshua, Chelsea and Jacob Bullard, all of WV. She was anxiously awaiting the forthcoming birth of her first great-grandchild, (Brady) in April. Brother: Homer Graham of Monroe, NC, Sisters: Helen Jordan of Grantsville, WV and Jeanetta Campbell of Riverview, FL.
Service will be at 1:00 pmThursday, Feb 8, at Carl Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Clay, WV with the Rev. Homer Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wallback.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, Feb 7, at the funeral home.
