Lonnie Sizemore Obituary

Lonnie James Sizemore, 93, of Dixie, entered into rest December 28, 2011, at Ansted Healthcare in Ansted, WV.
Born on April 12, 1918, in Diana, Webster County, he was the son of the late Owen and Lucy Gumm Sizemore. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Stella Mae Cogar Sizemore; son, Paul Duane Sizemore, brother, Charles Sizemore and sister, Norma Killinger.
Lonnie worked most of his adult life in the lumber industry for the Fayette Lumber Company, originially Webster Hardwood. He was a member of Bell Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Dixie, WV.
Survivors include his sons, Bobby Sizemore (Sharon) of Woodbridge, VA, Delmer Sizemore (Brenda) of Vaughan and Larry Sizemore (Sue) of Nellis; daughter, Cherrioll Cogar (David) of Whitewater, WV; brothers. O. T. Sizemore (Harriett) of Dixie and O. J. Sizemore (Flora) of New Martinsville, WV; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Friday, December 30, 2011, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister John McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
