Lloyd H. Bledsoe, 80, of Charleston, formerly of Clay County, died August 11, 2004, at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 26, 1924, in Ovapa to the late Grover and Icie Bledsoe.
He was a retired electrician from Dupont, and an Army veteran of World
War II.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel, whom he married on March 29, 1947; two sons, Randall D. of Virginia Beach, VA, and John G. of Elkview; two daughters, Benda L. Helmick of Charleston, and Mona R. Chastain of South Charleston; brothers, Lester of Ripley, Carl of Livingston, TX, and Teddy of Charleston; grandchildren, Christopher L. Bledsoe of San Antonio, TX, and Kathleen Bledsoe of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandchildren, Blake and Benjamin Bledsoe of San Antonio, TX.
Funeral service will be 1 pm on Friday, August 13, 2004, at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay. Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery, Ivydale.
Visitation will be from 11 am to l pm on Friday at the funeral home.
