Lawrence Denver Truman, 75, of Lizemores, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, May 11, 2017 at CAMC General Hospital surround by his loving family.
Born on August 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Ira and Ethel (Darlington) Truman.
Denver was a member of Laurel Fork Missionary Baptist Church and attended Vaughan Baptist Church.
Denver is survived by his loving wife, Maysel M. (Holcomb) Truman; sons, Michael Truman (Carrie McGrew) of Clay, Kevin (Janice) Truman of Prince George, VA, Jonathan (Connie) Truman of Bickmore; brother, Menford (Shirley) Truman of Richwood; sisters, Hilda Walker of Elkview, Helen (Naamon) Moore of Lizemores; and five grandchildren,,Seth, Chase, Lucas, Tristen and Gathan.
Denver will be sorrowfully missed by his family and all that knew him.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 15, 2017 at Vaughan Baptist Church, Vaughan, WV with Minister Naamon Moore and Minister Earl Elliott. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore, WV.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, WV
