Kenneth Scott Morton

Kenneth Scott Morton (Apache) entered into rest on February 2,2025 after a 14-year battle with cancer.

He was a loving husband of 43 years to his wife Donna (Smarr), devoted father to their son Aaron (Eve) and he cherished his grandchildren Logan and Makenna Morton and was recently blessed with 2 bonus grandchildren that he loved as his own Jean and Sawyer Estel.

He was employed at Valley Camp Coal Company and then started his own company Morton Trucking.

He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Phyllis Morton.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Donna, son Aaron (Eve), grandchildren, Logan, Makenna. Jean and Sawyer, sisters Cindy Burns (Eddie), Patricia Neal (Tim), several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Best friends Emil Vance and Ray Miller.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 8, 2025, at 1:00pm at Pennington Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Walker officiating, visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery.
