Joanne Neil

Joanne Neil 79 of Jodie went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 10, 2012 after a short illness. She was born December 16, 1932 to the late Gordon and Icie Carr Roop. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred O. Neil Sr.
She was a member of the Jodie Missionary Baptist Church for 67 years, a member of the Montgomery Eastern Star Kanawha Chapter No. 38.
She is survived by her sons, Fred Jr. and Becky Neil of York, SC; Steven and Diana Neil of Jodie; sister, Jane and Nate Bush of Jodie; Four Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great-Grandson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Joe Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Rich Creek Cemetery, Jodie. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the funeral home.
