James Douglas Hackney II

James “Jamie” Douglas Hackney II, 42, of Beech Glen, passed away Thursday,  April 21, 2016, at his home in Beech Glen.

Born on April 7, 1974, he was the son of and the late James D. Hackney and Carolyn (Jarrett) Hackney, of Jodie.

In addition to his father, Jamie was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Helen Hackney , and Charles and Gussie Jarrett .

Jamie loved playing the drums and watching sports with his mom.

In addition to his mother, Jamie is survived by brother, JD Hackney of Deep Water; sisters, Shelly (Jerry) Auxier of Jodie, Susie Harvey and Ken Coleman of St. Albans; three nieces’, special Aunt Marilyn (Meme) Hodge of Beech Glen; Jamie had many friends of which he considered his brothers, Tommy (Tater) Kozak, Timmy Jackson, and Ken Coleman. His big personality will be missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held 6 to 8 P.M., Friday April 29, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge.
