Gerald (Jerry Lee) Thomas, Jr.

Gerald Lee Thomas, Jr (Jerry Lee), 60 of Jodie entered into rest January 5, 2026.

Born on December 29, 1965, in Aiken, SC, he was the son of the late Gerald Lee Thomas, Sr. and Loretta Sue Thomas.

He was a night watchman for Calhoun Enterprise, a navy veteran and an avid guitar player and songwriter. Jerry Lee could tell a story like no other, and his smile was infectious.

Survivors include his daughter, Nichole Thomas Waggoner of Chandler, AZ, sisters, Tracy Thomas Marinski of Charlton Heights, Tammy Maynor May of Pinch; brother, Steven Hicks of East Bank; aunts, Pasty Sullivan (Kenneth) of Gauley Bridge, Lesa Lambey (Clint) of Ansted; uncles, William Thomas (Judy) of Casa Grande, AZ, Danny Thomas (Janice) of Jodie, Stepmother, Erna Thomas of East Bank. He also leaves behind two granddaughters, as well as a whole handful of nephews and nieces.

A celebration honoring Jerry Lee’s life will be held at a future date and further details will be provided at a later date.
