Georgia Marie (Bishop) Grose

Georgia Marie (Bishop) Grose, 91, of Montgomery formerly of Gauley Bridge, entered into rest, Monday, February 12, 2018.

Born December 20, 1926, in Big Stone Gap, VA., she was the daughter of the late Milford and Daisy (Hilton) Bishop. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Basil Grose; and one granddaughter, Sherry.

Georgia is survived by her son, Steve Grose of Gauley Bridge; daughters, Donna Meadows of Huntington, Rebecca Arthur of Lewisburg, Cheryl Blare of Aberdeen, MD, Sharon Wagner of Clarksburg, and Mary Fernadez of Mt. Dora, FL; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the Brownsville Holiness Church, Brownsville, with Minister Charles Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Simms Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
