Geneieve Barker

Geneieve L. Barker, 72, of Gauley Bridge our beloved sister, mother, and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

She was born February 25, 1943, in Adonijah.  She was the daughter of the late Loy and June Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Barker, and sisters Barbara Deitz and Reba Bird.  

Geneieve leaves behind her sisters, Shirley Pritt, Phyllis (Carl) Rader, Bonnie (Kyle) Rader, Annette Foster, and Tonia Wayne; children,  Phil (Amy) Nichols of Belva and Mike (Cheryl) Nichols of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Ashlee and Ethan Nichols of Charleston, Gavin, Reece, and Jakoby Nichols of Belva and Kaitlyn Nichols of Las Vegas; great-grandchildren,  Kyrah and Coleson of Charleston.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 13, 2015 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Thurman Sizemore officiating.  Burial will be in Community Cemetery, Adonijah.
