Gary "Chicken" Elliott

Gary E. "Chicken" Elliott, 59, of Foster, WV, entered into rest on December 30, 2011, at CAMC-Memorial Division.
Born on December 2, 1952, in Charlton Heights, WV, he was the son of the late Delbert and Frances Burns Elliott.
Gary was an electrician in the mining industry and retired from Hobet #21 mine in Boone County.
Survivors include his wife of 36 yrs, Diane Grose Elliott of Foster; daughter, Ashley "Baby Girl" Elliott of Drexel Hill, PA; sisters, Judi Elliott of Dunbar and Gail (Eric) Elkins of Dixie; aunt, Ruth "PeeWee" Sims;
sisters-in-law, Cathy McGee of Akron, OH, Donna "Lou" Grose of Jodie and Nancy Grose of Jodie; six nieces and five nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Pennington Funeral Home Chapel, Gauley Bridge, with the Minister Billy Morris officiating and Ron Elliott assisting. Burial will follow at the Grose Cemetery, Summersville, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012 at Pennington Funeral Home Chapel.
The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and staff of CAMC Memorial SICU, 4 North, MICU divisions, and to the Fresenius Dialysis Center for all the Loving Care and support that was shown to Diane and the entire family during Gary's illness.
