Garnett L. (Pernell) Nichols

Garnett L. Nichols, 88, of Lizemores, entered into rest Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Born April 11, 1930 in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late James and Tressy (Harper) Pernell.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Nichols; sons, James and Larry Nichols; and granddaughter, Kelly Jean Zimmerman.

Garnett is survived by her son, Lambert (Wilma) Nichols of Indianapolis, IN; and daughter, Garnett Lucas of Knotts Island, N.C.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 19, at Gauley Bridge Baptist Church, with Minister Naaman Moore officiating.  Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor, WV.

Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the church.
