Franklin Eugene Mullins

Franklin Eugene Mullins, 81, of Dixie, WV went home to be with the Lord on the 10th of November 2024 following a short illness. A longtime member of the United Methodist Church of Lizemores, WV he was born on December 8th, 1942. in Montgomery, WV. He was a devoted husband of 60 years to Connie Mullins and a loving father to his children, Charles, Beth and daughter in law Tonya.

Eugene, as he preferred, spent a number of years working in the mining and trucking industries until his retirement. His friends and co-workers knew him as “Pony”. Despite his many responsibilities as a husband and father, he always made time for his family and his main hobby, automobiles. Anyone who knew Eugene, knew his love for antique cars. Whether just tinkering or fully restoring an antique for himself or others, so many of the old cars he restored will live on as a reminder of his love and dedication. As well as the many friends it made him and the lives it helped him touch.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Connie Mullins. Children and daughter in law, Charles, Beth and Tonya Mullins of Dixie, WV. Brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jennie Mullins of Falls View, WV. Sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Jadie Morris of Dixie, WV. Sister-in-law, Linda Mullins, of Ashford, WV.

Eugene was proceeded in death by his daughter Angela. Parents, Earlie J. Mullins and Ruth Brown Mullins. And brother, Sterling Mullins.
