Floyd Scott “Bud” Legg, 70, of Charleston WV, formerly of Dixie WV, passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2015 in Charleston, WV after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Belle Creek, WV to Delbert and Norma Legg on January 19, 1945.
He spent his working career in the logging and mining industries with Cedar Coal Company and others. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. He was well known among his friends for his charity and generosity. An avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed time spent in the outdoors.
He is survived by his three children, son, Terry Legg, daughters, Drema Harless and Pamela Brown, brother Jimmy Legg, sister Doris Legg-Logan and grandchildren, Jenna, Catie, Ryan, Aaron and Terry.
Family visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday April 4th from 11:00 to 1:00 at Pennington Funeral Home, 331 Main Street Gauley Bridge WV.
