Florence Bell Tucker

Florence Bell (Blankenship) Tucker, 79, of Swiss, entered into rest Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Summersville Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 4, 1931, in Clendenin, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Carrie E. (Huffman) Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Christopher R. Tucker; grandson Christopher Sean Tucker, and brother, William H. Blankenship.
She was the best mom in the world.
Survivors include two daughters, Florence "Peaches" Stephenson and Patricia "Patty" Smallwood; three sons, Robert, Randy and Jimmy Tucker; sisters, Ruth Acord, Esther Acord, Dolly Treadway and Martha McAtee and one brother, Woodrow E. Blankenship.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Rev. Lee Holliday officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
