Everett McKinley Murphy JR

Everett McKinley Murphy JR , 87, of Greenbank, passed away December 9, 2015 at Montgomery General Hospital.

He was Born September 29, 1928 to the late Everett and Cleo Murphy.

Everett was owner and operator of Murphy's Petrolum in Fayette Co. Everett was proceded in death by his parents, Wife: Rose Persinger Murphy and Twin Sons: Michael and Mitchell Murphy.

Everett is survived by his son Timothy Everett ( Cynthia) Murphy of Maple Heights, OH; daughters Cathy (Jim) Darling of Montgomery, Joy (Howard) Stansberry of Raeford, NC. Step Children Garett Persinger of Athens, WV and Sharon Beth Persinger of New Paltz, NY; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Several Nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Greenbank Senior Center along with his nephews David and Howard Murphy for all their help and care.

Visitation will be held Friday December 11, 2015 from 6 to 8 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge.

Funeral service will be Saturday December 12, 2015 @ 1: PM at Wallace & Wallace, Arbovale WV with one hour visitation prior to service. With the Minister David Rittenhouse. Burial will follow in the Arbovale Community Cemetery, Arbovale, WV.
