Eva Marie (Hmphrey) Morris

Eva Marie Morris, 95, Fayetteville, entered into rest Saturday, August 27, 2016.

Born May 23, 1921 in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Ann (Kauff) Humphrey. In addition to her parents, Eva was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Morris; daughter, Donna Jean Thomas; and grandson, P.J. Thomas.

She attended Swiss Methodist Church.

Eva is survived by her son, Paul Larry Morris of Charleston; daughter, Shirley Ann Patrick of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Ben “Skeeter” Thomas, Bruce Krise, Jeff Krise, Lisa Spoerer and Monica Krise; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; brother, Clifford Humphrey of Alta; sisters, Edith Kuntz of Swiss and Ruby Hill of Alta.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Rev. J.W. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
