Eugene Wayne Coen, Jr.

Eugene Wayne Coen Jr., 60 years old, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Wayne was born September 3, 1963, in Kinston, NC., the son of the late Eugene Wayne Coen, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Bryan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant son, Tyler Nicholas Coen.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lisa (Cooper) Coen; son, Eugene Wayne Coen, lll (Meghan) and granddaughter, Ella and grandson Holdenn of Ansted, WV; sister, Edwina Coen Young (Robert) and their son Christopher (Mollie) and their daughters, Ellie and Emma of Charlotte, NC; brother, Michael Edwin Coen (Sindy) and his daughter, Karen (Nathan) and their daughter, Eliana of Belton, TX.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, 10:20 am at Pennington Smith Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, WV, with a visitation service from 10:00 am - 10:20 am at the funeral home.
