Esther (Walker) Thacker

Esther Thacker, 75, of Belva, entered into rest Friday, May 26, 2017.

Born May 21, 1942, in Nallen, WV, to Audrey (Adkins) Martin, of Montgomery, and the late George Walker.  In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by husband, of 52 years William “Bill” Thacker; and sister, Anna Kyle.

Esther is survived by her son, Bill (Christinia) Thacker of Dixie; daughter, Lisa (Donavon ) Giles of Huntington ; 5 grandchildren, Christina and Cordell Giles, Hunter, Colton and Timmy Thacker; brother, Ron (Mary Kaye) Walker of Charlton Heights; sister, Connie Smith, of Charlotte, N.C.

Funeral service will be held  11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Danny Sears officiating.  Burial will be Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
