Emogene Ann Simms, 87 of Gauley Bridge, WV entered into rest on June 10, 2024, in Montgomery, WV.

Born on July 20, 1936, in Gad, WV to the late Elmer and Virgie (Persinger) Hatten.

Emogene is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lowell T. Simms; sons, Lowell T. Simms Jr. and Tim Simms; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She retired from the school system as a cook. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Dotson Simpson Cemetery, Keslers Cross Lanes, WV.
