Elenora (Gray) Harvey

Elenora Harvey, 93, of Jodie, entered into rest Friday, November 23, 2018.

Born August 4, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth (Claytor) Gray. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy (Preacher) I. Harvey; brother, Earl David Gray; sisters, Rosalee White and Norene Groves.

She loved children and every child that met her, loved her as well.

Elenora is survived by son, Scott (Kay) Harvey and daughter, Annagayle Sterns; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, sisters, Mary Lou Surbaugh (who took an active part in the care of Elenora) and Norma Nutter; aunt, Virginia “Tip” Claytor (98).  

The family would like to express their appreciation to Hubbard Hospice House for the excellent care given to their loved one.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, at Jodie Baptist Church, Jodie.  Burial will be in Rich Creek Cemetery.

Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the church.
