Dormal Carolyn (Drake) McClain

Dormal Carolyn (Drake) McClain, 85, of Dixie, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Hospice Hubbard House, Charleston.

Born on June 12, 1930 in Roane Co., she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Iley Drake; in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Victor Ray McClain; infant son, Kevin Dale McClain;  grandson, Victor Shane Foster; son in law, Denny Foster;

She was a member of Bell Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are son, Stan McClain of Cannelton; daughter, Janice Foster of Dixie; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers; Delbert and Ronzil Drake both of Parkersburg; and sisters; Maysel Cook of Powellton and Jeanie Dooley of Parkersburg.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Shane Wynn officiating. Burial will follow at Elena Community Church Cemetery in Roane County.

Family will be receiving visitors on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
