Donald Jean Hamilton

Donald Jean Hamilton, 70, of Alta, entered into rest July 11, 2011, at Montgomery General Hospital.
Born on January 28, 1941, in Montgomery, he was the son of the late Ollie and Gladys Hamilton.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bussy and Paul Hamilton.
He was a member of the House of Prayer, Scrabble Creek.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Gauley Bridge; daughters, Diana Hamilton of Oak Hill and Anita Hamilton of Alta; sons, Donald Hamilton of Gauley Bridge, Ollie(Michelle) Hamilton of Alta, and David Hamilton of Gauley Bridge; sisters, Norma Gregory of Kentucky and Peggy Handley of Belle; half-sister, Luanna Hamilton of Charleston; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Buzzy Whittington officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
