Dennie Lawrence VanMeter

Dennie "Boots" VanMeter, 84, of Bentree, entered into rest March 30, 2012, at Johnson's Care Home, Belva, WV
Born on April 24, 1927, in Bentree, he was the son of the late Johnny and Eva Virginia Vanmeter.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Naoma "Bobbie" Vanmeter.
He was a coal miner for Cannelton Coal Company and a member of the UMWA.
Survivors include his sister, Myrtle Coleman of Cedar Grove and niece, Felicia Cogar of Dixie.
Graveside service will be 2 pm Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Ward Cemetery, Kelly's Creek.
