Metzie was a homemaker and attended New Antioch Baptist Church of Dog Run Clay WV.

Metzie was born on July 21, 1938 to the late Norval and Dormal (Naylor) Rogers.

Metzie is survived by her Loving Husband: Gary Walker, Sons: B. Allen Moore of South Charleston WV; Kyle Anthony "Tony" Moore of Dixie, WV. Daughter: Lisa Dawn Plummer of Roanoke, VA. Brother: William "WD" Rogers of Louisville OH., Sisters: Berma Amburgey of Charleston WV., Elaine Foster, Belva WV and Joy Fitzwater of Indore WV. Grandsons: Nick Poole and Michael Poole, Granddaughters: Denise Moore Smith and Candice Cobado.

Graveside service will be held Friday July 31, 2015; 11:00 A.M. at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glassgow, WV.
