Delmar Nichols Obituary

Delmar "Allen" Nichols 45, of Ovapa passed away June 18, 2011 at Hubbard Hospice House following a difficult battle with cancer.
He was born July 12, 1965.
He was a loving grandson, husband, son, father, grandfather and friend. He was also a member of the Bethal United Methodist Church in Ovapa.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Soprona Nichols; and father-in-law, Donald DeMoss.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Donna K. Nichols; mother-in-law, Ruby M. DeMoss of Procious; sisters-in-law, Letha Cottle and husband, Bobby Cottle, of Big Chimney and Norma Alexander and husband Jim Alexander, of Naples, Florida; daughters, Tracy L. Pritt, of Procious and Angela N. Nichols and fiance, Danny B. Berry, of Wallback; grandsons, Timothy "TJ" Pritt Jr. and Adam S. Berry; and his special "bear hunting" buddies and pets, Princess, Duke, Crash.
We would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Arun Nagarajan and his nurse, Sheila, at the David C. Lee Cancer Center, to the Hubbard hospice House for making his final days peaceful, and also to everyone for your prayers, your help, and your support over the past year.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am, You know the way to the place where I am going." John 14:1-4
Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Wilson Shamblin Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Clay, WV. with Minister Mike Schoonover officiating. Burial will follow in the DeMoss Cemetery, Proicous.
Friends may call from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the funeral home.
