Daniel Burdette Obituary
Daniel Patrick "Pat" Burdette, 53, of Procious entered into rest on March 21, 2005, at CAMC-Memorial Division after a long illness.
He was born on June 6, 1951, in Clay County to the late James P. and Anna Emily Burdette.
Pat was a retired laborer for the WV Department of Highways, and attended the Freewill Baptist Church of Pisgah.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" and Beverly Burdette of Procious; sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene and Larry Truman of Maysel and Darlene and J. B. Butcher of Clay; and nieces and nephews, Betty Ann Lowther of Hurricane, Christy Burdette, Adam Burdette, and Dusty Rose Burdette, all of Procious, Michael Burdette of Thomasville, NC, Larry Truman, Jr. of Lexington, NC, J. B. Butcher, Jr. of Summersville, and Brandi Crawn of Oak Harbor, WA .
Funeral service will be 10 am Friday, March 25, 2005, at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Basil Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Sams Cemetery, Procious.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
