Dahlia Marie (Hudnell) Roop

Dahlia Marie Roop, 87, of Michigan, formerly of Jodie entered into rest Friday, November 24, 2017.

Born April 18, 1930 in Gamoca, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Vergie (Kincaid) Hudnell.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Roop Jr.

Dahlia is survived by her daughters, Beth (Bud) Butcher, Dorothy Butcher, and Lisa Roberts; sons, David  (Vonda) Roop, Ted (Brenda) Roop and Paul Kevin (Mandy) Roop; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Jodie Baptist Church, Jodie, with Minister Larry Skaggs.  Burial will be in Rich Creek Cemetery, Jodi.

Friends may gather with family two hours prior to the funeral service at the church.
