Charles Kuntz Obituary

Charles Page Kuntz, 88, of Swiss, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2012.
Born on December 10, 1923, in Swiss, he was the son of the late Henry and Maude Kuntz.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Fred; sister, Mary Davis and grandson, Ricky Dorsey.
He was a World War II Army veteran, a lifetime farmer, and was known as "The Egg Man" after having sold eggs for more than 50 years. He loved sports of all kinds. Page was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was a lifetime member of Simms Methodist Church, having served thirty years as Sunday School superintendent.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Edith Humphrey Kuntz; daughters, Judy Gray (Don) of Clay, Brenda Dorsey of Durham, NC, and Sherrie Kuntz of Swiss; son, John Kuntz (Golden) of Swiss; grandchildren, Robert Dorsey, Chrissy Hood, Kimberly Christian, Justin Kuntz and Tyler Kuntz; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Ella Wilson of Fayetteville and special friend and care-giver, George Kiser.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Rev. J. W. Hill and Rev. Dennis Preast officiating. Burial will follow in the Kuntz Family Cemetery, Swiss.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
