Charles Joseph Belmont II
Obituary
Charles Joseph Belmont, II “Joey” 62, of Glen Ferris, entered into rest on August 29, 2022, after a long illness. Born October 20, 1959, Montgomery WV, he was the son of the late Charles J. Belmont and Wanda Jean (Vaughn) Belmont of Glen Ferris.
He is survived by; three sons Austin (Kate) Belmont of Beech Glen, Cameron Belmont (Sarah Burke) of Glasgow, and Robbie Belmont (Justice Bullings) of Gauley Bridge; Grandchildren Jessa Belmont, Hallie Belmont, Dalton Belmont and Liam Belmont; by two brothers, Todd (Lafonda) Belmont of Boomer and Nick (Monica) Belmont of Summersville; nieces Morgan (Mark) Brooks, Brooke (KC) Dempsey, Kate Belmont, Holly Belmont; nephew Ryan Belmont. Tammy Belmont of Gauley Bridge the mother of his children.
He was a lifelong resident of Fayette County and graduated in 1979 from Gauley Bridge High School. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved the beach and travel. Cooking brought him much joy. Joey was a wonderful loving father and grandfather. He cherished his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him, especially his warm smile.
Funeral service for Charles will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Rectory, Boomer, WV at 11:00 AM, with Father John Rice, With one hour visitation prior for friends and family. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London, WV.
