Charles Belmont Obituary
Charles Joseph Belmont 71, of Gauley Bridge, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at CAMC Memorial Division. He was born September 8, 1939 in Boomer to the late Joseph Belmont and Roberta Patton Belmont of Boomer. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean Belmont. He was a retired Electrician for Elkem Metals, Alloy with 31 years of service. He was a member of the St. Anthony Immaculate Conception Church, Boomer.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Joey and Tammy Belmont of Gauley Bridge; Tod and LaFonda Belmont of Boomer; Nick and Monica Belmont of Belva; brothers, James Belmont of Gastonia, NC; Lawrence Belmont of Boomer; Lonnie Belmont of Oak Hill; sister, Mary Ann Perkins of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Austin Patrick, Cameron Joseph, Samuel Robb Snead, Morgan Nicole, Brooke Elizabeth, Ryan Patrick, Kate Susan, and Holly Christine Belmont.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge with Father John Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call from 6:00 - 9:00 PM Friday, November 19, 2010 at the funeral home, where a prayer service will begin at 8:30PM.
