Calvin Jessie Stewart

Calvin Jessie Stewart, “50” of Swiss, WV passed away on November 17th, 2024, leaving behind his memories with his mother, Wanda Stewart of Swiss, WV, his sister Crystal Thomas of Peachland, NC, wife Caroline Stewart, Swiss, WV, as well as his three children. His son Calvin “Zach” Stewart, Swiss, WV, his two daughters, Alivia Brookelynn Stewart, Swiss, WV, Karmon Rose Stewart, Swiss, WV. Calvin had one grandchild Wynter Stewart.

Calvin had two nieces, three nephews, Brandon Stewart of Swiss, WV, Derrick Stewart of Swiss, WV, Makayla Thomas of Peachland, NC, Dakota Thomas of Peachland, NC and Sierra Thomas of Peachland, NC. Calvin had many friends. His best friend of 26 years is Tim Baucom.

Calvin worked for the Department of Transportation of Monroe, NC. Calvin was a bright, kind, outgoing, adventures person. Loved being outdoors, always wanting to do something with his family and friends. You never seen Calvin without a smile upon his face, and a kind word to say.

Calvin was the love of his mother’s world as he was to many of us.

The Stewart family would like to send their thanks to the Department of Transportation workers of the state of North Carolina for always being there for Calvin Jessie Stewart.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 6:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm at Pennington Smith Funeral Home 331 Main Street Gauley Bridge, WV.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
