Bonnie Rose Elkins

Bonnie Elkins, 68, of Salisbury, NC, entered into rest September 28, 2011.
Born on March 31, 1943, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Annias and Delphia Duncan.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Eugene Elkins of Salisbury; children, Eugenia Roberts McMillion of Salisbury, Edward Elkins of Locust, NC and Tammy Strader of Beckley; brothers and sisters, Jewell Miller of Washington State, Patricia Hudnall of Clay, Carlos Duncan of Clay, Millie Grisphart of Ocala, FL, Mitchell Duncan of Elkton, MD, Kerry Duncan of Clay, Elmer Duncan of Clay, Arlena Duncan of Ohio and Alice Long of Elkton, MD; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Monday, October 3, 2011, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Rev. Charles Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
