Birdie Dell (Rose) Phillips

Birdie Dell (Rose) Phillips, 88, of Clay, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.

Born on December 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Zelma Rose. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dale Phillips and sister, Ruth A. Lee.

She was a member of Summersville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons; Edward Phillips of Barrington, IL,

Earl Dale Phillips Jr. of Alta, Gary B Phillips of Prince, and Mark Phillips of Clay; daughters, Ellen Coleman of Hammond, IN and Phyllis Johnson of Ripley; sisters, Velva Woods of Vera Beach, FL and Betty Rose Lingle of Beach City, OH; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Robert King officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
