Beverly June Miller

Beverly J. Miller, 76, of Gauley Bridge, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Beverly was born on February 24, 1948, to the late Mary “Wavie” M. Deboard in Clay County, WV.

Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, MawMaw, sister, and friend. She was a devout believer in God with a strong and unwavering faith and attended church at Scrabble Creek. She’s known for making the most delicious homemade biscuits and gravy, enjoyed playing Scrabble and Yahtzee with family, talking on the phone to loved ones, and spending time with her family and friends. She was the glue to her family and will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. 

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Miller, her mother Mary “Wavie” M. Deboard, her step-father Darrel “Jiggs” Deboard, her brothers Ronnie Moore, Bobby Moore, Leo Deboard, and sister Thelma Lanham. 

Beverly is survived by her three children, Angela Blair (Lewis) of Parkersburg, WV, Daniel Moore of Parkersburg, WV, and James Roberts (Teresa) of Wharton, WV; her brother Jimmy Deboard and her sister Rebecca Merrill; her four grandchildren, Natasha Petty (Josh), Tiffany Blair (Jared), Peyton Moore, and Scott Reed (Mary); and two great-grandchildren, Conner Petty and Adriana Petty. Plus, many more loving family members and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Pennington Smith Funeral Home in Gauley Bridge, WV with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London, WV.
