Audrey Marie (Adkins) Martin

Audrey Marie Martin, 97, of Gauley Bridge, entered into rest Thursday, July 13, 2017.

Born on March 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Eliza Drake Adkins. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughters, Esther Thacker and Anna Kyle; sons-in-law, Bill Thacker and Steven Smith; sisters, Ethel Adkins, Bertha Legg and Pearl Adkins; brothers, Bob, Jim and Clarence Adkins.

Audrey is survived by son, Ronnie (Mary Kay) Walker of Charlton Heights; daughter, Connie Smith of Charlotte, NC., and her son-in-law Garry Kyle of Valley City, Ohio; grandchildren, Britney (Travis) Hanshaw, Lisa (Donavon) Giles, Theresa Zavissa, Paula (Rich) Graul, Cindy Smith, Michelle (Henry) Adams, Derek (Nina) Walker, and Bill (Chris) Thacker, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 17, 2017, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Jimmy Adkins officiating. Entombment will follow in Highlawn Memorial Park, Mausoleum, Oak Hill, WV. Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
