Anthony Wayne Phillips

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Phillips was born 12/27/1976 in Montgomery, WV, to Tammy L Bibbee and Robert L “Togo” Phillips. Tony had 3 brothers: Jeremy (Melissa) of Altoona PA, Jason (Vanessa) of Sterling, VA, and Robert II of Glen Ferris, WV. He passed away unexpectedly and will be missed by so many.

Over the years, Tony worked a variety of jobs including cooking, restaurant management, and luxury door manufacturing. He was a hustler and always found a way to land on his feet. He was fun loving, kindhearted, goofy, friendly, and always up for a good time. Tony had a variety of hobbies, including spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, watching football, and spending time with friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Robert L Phillips Sr, Grandfather Robert L Phillips, Grandfather Jesse Bibbee, and Grandmother Naomi Bibbee.

Tony is survived by his 2 children, John Neal and Aleeha Wilson, both of WV, his mother Tammy Bibbee and stepfather Ronnie Rowley, his 3 brothers- Jeremy, Jason, and Rob, 5 nephews and a niece. He is also survived by his Grandmother Natalie Phillips, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Funeral service for Anthony will be on Saturday September 23, 2023, at 1 pm, at Pennington Smith Funeral Home with Minister Tom Wiseman officiating. A burial will follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens at Victor, WV.
