Anna Mae Rodgers

Anna Mae (Annie) Rodgers, age 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Pickerington, Ohio.

She was born in Gauley Bridge, WV on Sept 5, 1936 to Fred and Lucille Ward.

Annie truly lived her life to the fullest through the simple pleasures of gardening alongside her husband, baking, quilting and enjoying time with her family. Anna Mae always surrounded their home with lush, beautiful flower gardens and had fresh vegetables from their garden on the dinner table each night. Her pantry was full of her homemade apple butter, pepper jelly and an assortment of freshly canned vegetables. Anna Mae will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anna Mae will be lovingly remembered by Daughter, Karen Holbrook; Granddaughters, Cynthia Keith (Jonathan), Courtney (Ronald) Munoz, Lyndsey (Joe) Kuznar, Chelsea Millay, Whitney Millay; Great-grandchildren, Lily, Nathan, Jayen, Tristan, Emmanuel, Skyler, Aria, Bella, Avery; Sisters, Caroline (Tom) Wristin, Alma Emmers, Nancy Owens; Stepdaughter, Gaye (Randy) Pauley; Stepson, Alan (Marsha) Rodgers.

 
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Harless D Rodgers; Parents, Fred and Lucille Ward; Siblings, Fred Ward JR, Emogene Winebrenner, Ilene Woods, Granddaughters; Amber and Breiana.

Special thanks to Gaye and Randy Pauley for the extra love, care and support they gave to Harless and Annie in the last few years of their lives.

Funeral Service will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Pennington Smith Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge WV with Minister Brett Wiley officiating.  Friends may gather with the family at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM prior to the service.
