Aaron Ray Blankenship 50, of Beaver OH, formerly of Gauley Bridge died, Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Holzer Medical Facility.
He was born November 7, 1960 in Gauley Bridge, WV to the late Hollie Eugene Blankenship and Shelbia Jean Mills Kerns of Valley Bend, WV.
He was a US Air Force Veteran
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-dad, Dale Kerns of Valley Bend, WV; sisters, Virginia Lou Lohr of Concord, NC, Martha Ann Hamrick of Charleston, WV, Regina Lynn Brogden of Creedmoor, NC, and Vida Roy of Jane Lew, WV; brothers, Wilbert Lee Blankenship of Spokane, WA, Leon Royal of Chimney Corner, WV; half-brother, Toney Lee Barnhart of Mt Airy, NC
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Rev. Charles Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London, with Military Graveside Rites conducted by Ansted VFW Post #7695. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
